چکیده

The study examined the relationships between self-efficacy, work-family conflict, social support, gender role attitudes, role model and career aspirations to top management among women in middle management in the manufacturing sector. Data were gathered from 109 women in 8 companies using self-administered questionnaires. Self-efficacy, social support, gender role attitudes and role model were significantly related to career aspiration. Only three predictor variables, self-efficacy, social support and gender role attitudes, were found to be significant in explaining career aspiration. Overall about 44% of the variability in career aspirations were explained by the studied variables.
